Hi everyone , I have been a lurker for some time but it is time for me to start doing this weight loss journey for real. I was thinking about diet pills yet again and decided that doesn't work ...duh.....Time for reality and cutting calories and exercising a lot more. And the support this wonderful forum offers may be the tipping point that makes me succeed ,once and for all.

Hi shymeggie! I am new here too... and I sure do wish there was a pill to take that would really work too. I even thought about asking my doctor at my appointment last week...but I just couldn't do it. You are right on target when you talk about the reality of cutting calories and increasing activity. That is what I am trying to do in my day to day life right now too. Nice to meet you and see you around!
