Newbie here
Today is my first day on here. I'd never even heard of this site until an hour ago. Everyone seems friendly and inspirational. I need to lose 49 lbs to get to my goal weight. So far I have been dieting since Jan 4 and I have lost 16 lbs. Since the weather in Ohio has been snowy, I have only been working out indoors. That can get very boing. I cannot wait to go to the park and jog/take walks.
Currently I play DDR every night and have been watching what I eat. That's ALL I have been doing. I also happen to be obsessed with the scale, which I know isn't good. Is anyone else on here like that? How many pounds per week is safe to lose? |

Congrats on the loss so far! Most folks recommend 1-2 pounds per week or 1% of your body weight. Sometimes people lose faster in the beginning and then it s-l-o-w-s way down toward goal. |
