Official Introduction
Hey all you inspiring folks out there! I've been reading threads for a few weeks now and am officially inspired to start my millionth quest to get back down to the weight I should be.
I'm 34, weigh 190 pounds (the absolute most I've ever weighed) and 5'2. My goal is to be 130 pounds. I was 130 a few years back and seem to have no idea how I let myself get to nearly 200 pounds. My plan is to follow SB and I'm doing my shopping tomorrow. I'm hoping this time I'll actually make it (and maintain it). Reading your stories makes me believe that I actually can. So 'hello' to everyone and thanks for all of your stories. I'd love to add a ticker to my profile (if anyone could help I'd appreciate it) Thanks! :) |
There is a waiting period until you are allowed to have a ticker, I believe it is 20, or 30 days from join date, and I also believe there is a min. amount tof post you must make too...but I don't have an idea about that number. That aside, welcome!!!!! Where are you from if you don't mind my asking?

You need 20 posts and to be a member for 20 days before you have the ticker option. Post often and you'll get a ticker before you know it!! Check out the South Beach forum. Surf around and settle in! |

You are exactly my age, my height and have the same goal as me :D I don't know about you, but this is the first time I've attempted it with some sort of support, so it's going great for me. I hope 3fc does the same for you. Hope to see you around |

Absolutely! I know how you feel
I am on Nutrisystem. I chose that one because if left to my own devices I have been known to not make the best choices when it comes to food. I have also started exercising regularly. Right now I am doing it at home using DVDs and the occasional Wii Fit workout. Whatever you decide to do, you have a whole community of friends here cheering you on (and of course, me) |
