Down Under Dieter

Hi!

I am 33 year old living in Sydney, Australia and like everyone else here I am on the dieting journey.
My starting weight was 84.5kg (186lbs) and over the past month I have managed to lose 2kg (4.5lbs) to reach my current weight of 82.5kg (181.5lbs).
My goal is to get down to 70kg (154lbs) or maybe a little lower.

My plan is to watch what I eat and cut out the junk, but my main focus is to increase my fitness and exercise.
I have a WiiFit which I have been using almost everyday which has been fantastic in helping get my fitness level up and now I am seeking new challenges. I also walk my dogs for an hour in the mornings, which they absolutely love.

Looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing our dieting journey together.

Welcome Riayn!!! Sydney! How exotic!

Congrats on the loss so far!

Surf around. We have lots of forums, some based on age, eating plan, exercise, etc. We have a 30 something forum and some threads for the WiiFit down in exercise.

(Have you ever seen a platypus? Sorry, had to ask!)

I'm glad you're here!

Hey, fellow Sydney sider!

Congrats on the loss so far - I started at about 86kgs, so we have similar stats - it looks like.

Best of luck in your weight loss!

Drop me a line any time you feel like talking in metric terms or B.i.t.c.h.ing about how hot it's been :D

Midwife: I have definitely seen a platypus, along with the wombat, it is my favourite Aussie animal. Thanks for the welcome.

Mazza: It has been insanely hot and humid here in Sydney. Thankfully today is much cooler. I hate summer when it is like this.

Glad you found us! I look forward to seeing you around the forums!

Riayn - I agree. Got anything special planned for today? (Australia Day, that is)?
I thought it would be hotter, but it even looks like it may rain....

Welcome! There are a lot of people that I know that hate working out, but are in love with their WiiFit. I think that is what a fun and consistent exercise routine is about, finding something that is fun and doesn't seem so much like work. Well, keep up the heart rate and best of luck!

Mazza: No plans for Australia Day. Just relaxing around the house. How about you? I am loving this cooler weather though.

Tink & Lalique: Thanks so much for the welcome. :)
