New girl
 

Hi ladies,
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sarah. I'm 24 years old, a recent college grad, and I am getting married on 10/11/09...yikes! I recently joined Curves and my goal is to lose 30 lbs. (AND keep it off!) I have struggled with my weight all my life, and now I just want to get this extra weight off of me once and for all. I am hoping to make some friends and improve my accountability. I'm ready, LETS DO THIS! :D

:welcome3: I think you will really like this site. Everyone here is so nice and you can get lots of information. What are you planning on doing to lose weight besides Curves?

I wish you the best of luch with your goal...just make sure you are losing for you and not the wedding, because if it's for the wedding it will all come back after the wedding...trust me I know!

I'm planning to join another gym to do cardio on my off-days. I also take walk-breaks at work, which def helps clear my head...especially when its this cold out....

I want to lose this weight for me...looking better in a dress, well, that's just a bonus. Or the icing on the cake, I guess, haha.

I started here as a recent college grad with an upcoming wedding, too!

I believe we still have a "Brides to Be" group going in the "Support Groups" forum. We also have groups by eating plan, and the 20-somethings, for those in that age range.

Look around, find a spot, settle in, and keep posting. Can't wait to hear more from you soon!

I love that you said you are already thinking about keeping it off! One of the best parts of 3FC (in my totally unbiased opinion!) is the maintainers subforum---we are all about keeping it off--whether it is the first pound lost or the 101st pound lost.
