Nashville Mom finally ready for change...
 

After 10 years of being "Obese" I'm ready for change. I joined the YMCA and I've started on a journey to ditching the bad half of me. I have 145 lbs to lose, so I know it's going to be very hard, but I need this. I need to lose the weight for my kids, my hubby, but mostly for me. I'm tired of being tired. I'm sick of being sick.

Anyway, just thought I'd reach out to an online community who might be able to share stories of success and failure.

I LOVE Nashville! I spent the summer there in '07 and loved everything about it. Also, they have really nice YMCAs!

We have lots of areas that might be of interest to you. We have the 300+ club, for those with starting weights of 300 or more. We also have the 100 lb club, for those on their way to losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more. Either would be great spots for you.

We also have groups by age range and eating plan, so look around! Can't wait to get to know you better!
