Hello
Hi,
I have started, but am really hoping that having an online support group will help. I hope that I got my weight slider correct. My biggest problem is that I am always hungry, not just I want to eat, but I am REALLY hungry. Any suggestions? |

:wel3fc: You'll find a lot of support on this board. :) You're hungry, and not just bored or sad or anxious, but actually hungry? What do you eat & how often? Do you eat a lot of vegetables with each meal and snack? Do you get enough protein? And are you getting enough fat in your diet? Protein/Fiber/Fat all help to keep you fuller, longer. Not that we should go overboard, but we do need enough of them each day. List for us what you eat and when. I'm sure more suggestions will come along. |

Yep...we need some more info! What are you eating, how much of it, what your typical day looks like food and exercise-wise, etc. That'll enable us to give you much better suggestions. Otherwise, look around here - we have forums by age range, amount to lose, eating plan, and just about anything else you can think of. Find a spot or several, settle in, and keep posting. Can't wait to get to know you better! |
Volumetrics is a way of eating that gets you a ton of bang for your calorie buck. I know that veggies go a long way to fill me up. I also eat protein about 6 times through the day and that keeps me from getting too hungry.
So, make sure you are eating enough. Sometimes we kick off weight loss and go too low with the calories. Make sure you are eating often enough--and breakfast is important! Can you share with us a typical day's food? |
