Hello everyone!!

New girl here...
Its way past time to be here...To admit I cant do this alone...
Some how Ive gained about 40 pounds in the last year, not to mention the other 20 or so I have slowly gained in the past 10 years...
I think I am beautiful, and a good person...But I know I could be gorgeous, and not just for others...I have finally hit a point in my life that I dont care as much what others think of my looks, but I want to look good for ME..I want to feel comfortable, I dont want to hide in the back of photos being taken...
I can do this...
And I look foward to doing this with all of you...
60 pounds...I can do it
Have a wonderful day everyone!!!!

Welcome to 3FC!! Sounds like you are in a great place mentally for this journey. What are your thoughts for exercise and nutrition?

I'm glad you're here!

Thank you!
My 1st strategy is to count my calories throughout the day, and to try and keep them around 1,500.I work at a restaurant, which is HORRIBLE for someone trying to eat healthy and lose weight...All the free stuff we can eat is rolls, mashed potatoes, creamy soups...But, thankfully salads are free as well so I am going to try and focus on those!
As for exercise, last year my friend bought me some striptease/exercise DVDs,lol, and as funny as it seams they are alot of fun!So I am going to start with those for an hour a day for a couple weeks, then I was told by someone I should get some 3-5 pound weights and wear them on my ankles at work, and also start to work in some hand weights during my work-out...
Good plan so far?
Its starting today...
Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Ill let you know how its going!

Working in a restaurant must be a challenge, but FREE salads! 1500 sounds like a good place to start. There are calorie counting programs online, like The Daily Plate & FitDay that can help you with your calorie counting. We have a busy calorie counting forum filled with gurus too.

The Striptease DVD's sound like fun.

Best wishes with your plan. Sounds like you have some great strategies.
