Hi All!

I joined the forum about a year ago and lost 10lbs. I've maintained, but lost my discipline after a few months. Looking to make a long lasting commitment to myself towards a healthier life and hopefully lose some weight in the process, naturally.

I'm 31 years old and I live in New York City- I work in theatrical promotions, supporting shows for Cirque du Soleil and CHICAGO. Basically, we put characters out on the streets to perform and get the word out about shows.

Anyway, I'm eager to join the ranks of the long term on the forum and blog sites. When I was being responsible last year, the positive feedback and encouragement from the forum was absolutely amazing and inspiring.

Congratulations on maintaining that loss! Do you realize how difficult that is for most people here? Often, if they lose even 5 pounds they will regain that & then more before deciding to come back. So, not regaining is HUGE.

So glad you're back Sit down & post wherever you're comfortable.

Thanks for the positive words Fairie. I think being busy beyond words helped, but I think some of the advice from my last stint here also stuck with me.

Focus is always helpful, and the people here are wonderful at helping with that. Your job seems interesting...I visited NYC a couple of years ago for the first time...it was quite the experience.
