The only words of advice I can give you right off the bat are: everyone fears failure, but many have succeeded despite that fear. Take a look at all the maintainers we have here. Also, don't become disheartened just because you don't see instant results. I remember busting my butt (or maybe my gut? :lol:) for two weeks and losing no weight. I was upset, but I kept on exercising and limiting my portions. Throughout the next month, I lost 15 pounds! Good things come to those who wait; if you are patient, you will be well rewarded. :)

Hey Shane! I just read a post from a very frustrated new 3FCer who is a type 1 diabetic. Maybe you have something you could say to give her hope? Glad to see you are still kicking butt - you look hot as ever!

welcome to the boards joyce! I hope you find a niche here. there are tons of support & advice. don't ever say failure!! there will definitely be obstacles but don't throw in the towel! I wish you a happy,healthy and safe 2009!
