Hiya!
Hello everyone! I've been lurking this community for a couple days now, and finally decided to sign up! Reading everyone's struggles, and triumphs with weight loss is a great deal of inspiration for me. A little about myself...I'm K, I recently turned 18, and I've been overweight all my life. I've never been happy with my weight but the past 2 years of my life have been filled with hardships, and I turned to food for comfort causing me to gain 60 pounds. Last year I lost 30 of the 60 pounds I gained by slowly going back to the way I used to eat. I have 80 pounds to lose to get to the weight that I've wanted to be for a long time, but I am more motivated and inspired than ever!:carrot:

:wel3fc: Many of us have "yo-yo'd" down & back from lower weights. But, honestly, we know our goal is to keep it off, and that is a little harder. It involves some permanent changes. Take a look around, and post wherever you're comfortable. All the best to you! |

You might want to pay a visit to the 100 lb club, for those on their way to losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more. You might also find you have things in common with the 20-somethings group, though you're not quite there yet...we also have groups by eating plan, and a bunch of miscellaneous challenges and clubs. Look around, find one spot or many, and settle in. Can't wait to get to know you better! |
