Okay, so I've just found this website and I think this is just what I've been searching for. I'm 40, fat and fed up with dieting!! :dizzy:

I've decided that I'm going to try to live a healthier lifestyle and I have all of the "knowledge" but have never been able to accomplish my weight loss goals. I really want to be a good example for my children, but I have failed so many times, it gets discouraging. I am going to look around the site and try to find a group that fits me.

P.S. - can someone tell me how to get the "diet ticker" to show up on a post. I signed up for one, but don't know how to transfer it to the posting.

Well, you sound just like me!!! I just turned 34 yesterday and I too am in your shoes. I need a support group desperately. All the women I know talk like they are ready but have no motivation to take action so I find myself alone in this situation. I just signed up for this site today and haven't got a chance to look around so I am planning to do that now. I hope we can continue to get to know each other and encourage and support each other also. I am here for you girl! Best wishes, Jenn.

Hi there! I am in a similar situation to both of you so maybe I can join the two of you if that's all right. I'm going to be 34 in about 6 weeks, too! I need to get this done once and for all!
