New lady in town!
Hey ladies and gents,
I'm joining up around here and thought I'd say hello. I've always had eating and diet issues, but never took losing weight seriously--I ate right, but failed to exercise. That changed after being diagnosed with early/mild PCOS earlier this year. My treatment plan involves hormonal birth control and...substantial weight loss. That sure got my rear in gear! So here I am. I'm hitting the gym often and finding I love it, and changing my diet significantly. My first goal is 130 on my 5'5" frame, which may change when I near it depending on how my body looks/feels, etc. I am not at all wishy washy about reaching my goals, and I look forward to being part of the community. Hey Hippolyta. You've accomplished a lot so far. congratulations! I'm not familiar with PCOS but if it's anything as icky as other female hormonal problems, I feel for you honey! :hug: Hope to get to know you better.

We have a great PCOS/Insulin Resistance forum here, so you might want to check that out. We also have groups by age range or eating plan, so look around, find a spot, and settle in. After that? Just jump in and keep posting. Can't wait to get to know you better! |
