Hello everyone, new here
I just joined and would like to introduce myself. My name is Allison, I am 27 years old and I am ready to change my life. I have been overweight most of my life. In 2005 I lost 32 lbs on the grapefruit diet getting myslelf under 200 lbs. Well, I got lazy and gained it all and more back. I am ready to do it again and keep it off this time. I havent weighed myself yet. My sister in law borrowed my scale so I have to get that back. I know I am over 200 and really want to get down to 150. My first minigoal is to lose the first 10 pounds. Wish me luck. :)

I should have mentioned, I am not planning on doing the grapefruit diet, just old fashioned diet and exercise. Joining a gym soon!

Hi Allison, I am glad you joined up. this is a great place and you can spend hours reading the threads at night.....that is how I stay out of the fridge. You should join a challenge or start a blog....The more active you are the easier it is. Good luck and Welcome.

So I weighed myself today. I am starting at 230. My highest weight ever. But I know I can do this. I am renewing my membership at the gym tomorrow. I am determined!!!!!
