Newbie Here - My Story

  • Hey everyone!

    I just joined the community. My name is Lyndsey, I'm a 19 year old college student, and I live in Lexington, South Carolina. Here are my stats:

    Height: 5'5"

    Highest Weight: 165 (2006)
    Lowest Weight: 125 (2007)

    I originally lost 30lbs on Atkins with no exercise and then the final 10 and toned up on a low-calorie diet with plenty of exercise, which was then used to maintain my weight.

    HOWEVER, I've fallen off the bandwagon.

    Current Weight: 140-145 (depends on the day)
    Goal Weight: 125-130

    I went from wearing a size 9 (almost 11) jeans, to a size 5, back to a 9 at 25lbs lower than my highest weight (a growing girl, bigger hips?). I'd like to get to a 5 again or at least a 7. I just want to feel slim and good about myself again.

    I'll be making posts in a few other forums for help, but...

    Start Date: Monday, December 22nd
    Possible Plans: Low Calorie diet with exercise, "calorie shifting" method (anything BUT Atkins)

    I don't feel healthy anymore and my body is nowhere near toned and healthy-looking. That's the goal, to feel good about ME. But I do require a lot of support to do this again. It'll be tough, and I chose this forum to help me stick to my goal.

  • Good luck. I know what it's like to fall off the bandwagon. I took a month off from working out and now I'm starting to feel and see it. Once you start again it will feel great and you will be so happy. Good luck!!!!
