Hello all, I am new to this site.
Every year i go on 2 or 20 diets and at the end of every year I weigh more than I could have EVER imagined. I have gained 40 pounds in the last 3 years, 20 of it the last year. I am 45 5'1 and weigh 170 lbs. For my small frame that is HUGE.
I am having blood work done tomorrow to check Thyroid and many other things but am afraid I have to face the fact that I am simply fat and that is causing my "many" health problems. I am looking forward to reading through this forum.

hey debbie i'm new here too! hopefully you will find encouragement and accountability to help you stick with things. it's really discouraging to end up weighing more than you initially started, but i am glad to see how determined you are!
