Hello I'm Elizabeth...

  • So here's my story:

I have been considered obese since I was about eight. Yeah. That was ten years ago. When I was about fifteen, I tipped the scales at 315 pounds. I dieted and exercised my way back to two hundred and sixty pounds but it was easy because I didn't consider what I did exercise. I just played around in the pool with my three best friends all summer. Well, a year later I gained all that back plus some, tipping the scale at 350 pounds. But then my grandma got really sick and weight loss was no longer a priority for me. She died a few months later. I've spent the last year since then grieving. But now, I'm feeling much better and I'm ready to lose the weight. It's what I want and I know my grandma would want me to chase my dreams. I've already lost about fifteen pounds so now I'm 335 pounds. I talked to my doctor and she told me that I should weigh between 200 and 250 pounds so my goal weight is 215 pounds. The last time I weighed 215 pounds was when I was ten, so I really can't wait to see how I look and feel. I hope to make friends here and I can't wait til I'm able to share my success story.

  • Hi Elizabeth,
My name's Rose and I feel for you. My mom's very sick right now and I almost didn't start this weight loss plan last week. And even though I didn't talk to her about it I know she would want me to continue with my weight loss dreams. I'm 236.8lbs and my goal is 145. So I've got 91 lbs to lose, woo hoo!
That is awesome about your 15 lb loss. Keep up the good work!
