Be my friend!
I'm having trouble finding inner strength when no one else around me seems to want to live healthier-- namely my college friends and my boyfriend with whom I eat most of my meals.
How can I resist the temptation to eat poorly when everyone I want to eat with always wants to go out? I end up planning well, but when I'm too tired to cook after a long day and the BF wants to go to Jack-in-the-Box, it's too much to resist! I don't like eating alone in my apartment when everyone else is having fun at a restaurant... Be my friend! |
It is tough to go against the flow. I know that fastfood isn't the healthiest, but maybe you should try to work with it. Most places have something that is acceptable, if not ideal. Maybe you should do some research on the resturaunt that you & the BF frequent, and figure out what is the best thing to eat there. Then when you are too tired to make something from scratch, you'll already know what you should have.
Oh, and welcome to 3FC! :D |
If you frequent Jack-in-Box here's a helpful link... http://www.jackinthebox.com/ourfood/ you can build your own meal before you go so you know exactly what to order. Hope this is helpful.
