Dont know where to start?
I am a 29 yrs and stay home with my kids I have 5 ages 17- 7 months.I am 189 would like to be 140 some day but will take it 10 lbs at a time.I started to watch my eating 2 days ago. I do nurse my 7 month ols and did not loose lbs. After the birth of my daughter in 2003 I've been between 199-180 II would like to know can you drink protein shakes while nursing and which one is best? I need help and a plan

There should be no reason you can't drink protein drinks while nursing, but you might want to check with your doctor first.
You'll find that as soon as you stop breastfeeding, IF you begin some sort of diet simultaneously, you'll drop pounds pretty quickly (I did). Start slow, since your breastfeeding. Incorporate some exercise daily--even a 20 minute walk a day will be beneficial. As for a diet, I've learned that reducing processed foods, eating healthy foods, watching fat intake and counting calories works best for me. Remember the mantra: Eat less, move more. |

Great advice from alinnell. :yes: I didn't lose weight when I nursed, either. :( But it will come off.
