Holding myself accountable...

Hi! I've been a member off and on for around a year, but I've never introduced myself. I'm Becca and I've gained back the 12 lbs. and more since my last try at losing weight. I'm making myself put it into "print" in the hopes that it'll help me stay accountable. Good luck to all of us!;)

Good morning...I have also decided that I need some kind of accountability. Have you tried tracking your calories and exercise though thedailyplate.com? I have recently decided to give it a try and found that I absolutely love it.

Also the "chicks" on this site have great competitions on this site...maybe you could join one and the ladies can help you be more accountable. Good Luck!!

I love thedailyplate.com - it saved my life. :)

Be good luck Becca, just remember there's going to be many bumps in the way. You just have to get over them & keep going!

Hi . . . so glad to see you, Chickies . . . and tracking is definitely a help to staying on course. Another small suggestion would be to stop thinking about dieting and start thinking of this journey as a life-style change.

Good luck . . .

I used to track my calories religiously on Fitday, did my walking videos daily and was really working on changing the way we ate - then I got laid off. Then I got depressed. Then I just didn't care again. Now, I'm trying to get a hold of myself so I can at least be comfortable in my own body. This has been my highest weight ever and I'm sooo uncomfortable with it. I quit smoking a year and a half ago, and I feel much more UNhealthy than I've ever felt in my life.

I've challenged myself to get into the 170's by Christmas and I can't wait to get there!
