Hi all!
My name is maddie. I am 19 years old and studying social care. I have been trying to loose weight since the tender age of 8 and things have been really up and down for me. I've had 2 or so times that I've lost a lot but I always ended up gaining it back and more due to depression. I have struggled with compulsive over eating for years and am finally trying to tackle it. Its becoming really tough and I joined for support when it comes to losing weight and dealing with my issues with food. I also have PCOS and Insulin Resistence. not sure if thats common around here or not....

I've been on 3FC before but not onto the message boards. I have to say its extremely inspiring to hear your stories. I've almost lost all hope that this will ever happen for me and you ladies and your success are restoring that.

PCOS/Insulin Resistance is SO common here that we have a whole forum for it! Look for the PCOS/Insulin Resistance forum and jump in.

We also have a great Depression and Weight Issues forum, which would be a good fit for you.

Also, we have groups by age range, eating plan, etc. Look around!

Can't wait to get to know you better!

Welcome Maddie!!!! I know you'll love it here. I know for me reading the goal stories was a great motivator when I started. We're all in the same boat here and there is so much support on this site. Stick in there, you'll do great.
