The queen of starting tomorrow...

 Or one more day can't hurt, or after the holidays, etc. Yup that's me. I recently stumbled across you all and would love to be apart of this community.

Long story short-

I struggled with weight as a teenager-turned to anorexia and then bulimia. Became the master of binging and purging (I hope it's okay to mention all this). I continued down this dangerous path for years. Five years ago, I became pregnant with my first child. I decided then and there I would stop all the nonsense. Well I didn't - I just traded it all in for overeating. So now, two children later, 100 pounds later, here I sit. Fat, defeated, sad, and wanting a change.

I want a normal relationship with food. I want to not be on a diet every other week. I want to like exercising. I want to find time for myself again. I need to be able to talk about my struggles once and awhile without feeling shame.

So yeah...here I am.

:welcome2: You'll love it here, and yes all of that is okay to say, many of us are in the same boat. This site really helps, whats better than a hand to hold, and people that are actually understanding to your thoughts! Look around the different forums and see which one is best for you. If you're up to it start a challenge, but if you fall down, down worry we'll always be here for you. This is the best family you could ask for! :dust:

Hello Cinnamon! WELCOME! You can say pretty much anything you want here and will find support! Just stick with it! Pick a plan and start one day at a time. I really don't care for exercising either but I am enjoying the C25K program (Couch to 5K program.) There are a few threads on that program! :)

Just stick with it! Find a thread or a challange and join in! WELCOME again!

Tomorrow did me in too. When I started in April, it had been on mind. But then, it's been on my mind for years. But I woke up that morning, I had no preparation, but I just knew it was time to start. I had to make the best decisions I could, from that very moment. There might have been all sorts of valid reasons to decide I would spend that day planning, and get off to a good start tomorrow. But I KNEW ... tomorrow would derail me. So I did the best I could that day, and then planned for tomorrow and all the days after that. I HIGHLY recommend never putting off starting until tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow, with planning, will be even better than today. But it's no reason to throw today, and this present moment, away. Tomorrow is a thief.

Welcome! :) A lot of people here can relate to what you wrote and many of those same people have been able to achieve the very relationship with food and love of exercise you mentioned wanting -- good luck and see you around the forum !

Welcome Cinnamon! I'm fairly new myself, but I find this forum to be nothing but love and support. It *is* inspiring!
