New too
Hey all. I just found this sight a couple of days ago and am now actually taking some time to introduce myself. I am a sahm of two young girls.
I have only ever dieted once before in my life not that I havent needed to diet but just haven't been motivated to. My weight right now has got beyond ridiculous. I am very motivated right now but also realise after my other attempt that you need more than motivation if you want to lose weight and keep it off. I have changed my attitude completely and realise the whole cliche of "its not a diet its a lifestlye" is the only way for me to lose and keep this weight off. To finally have made this breakthrough in my thick head is beyond exciting. I know I am going to lose this weight. It isn't wishful thinking for me anymore I don't hope to I just know. It is amazingly empowering. I don't know how long it is going to take me but I will get there. I changed my lifestyle 3 weeks ago and will never go back. As for exercise I have never been so enthusiastic. I just moved to the Adirondacks and refound my love for hiking. I hike or go for a 5 mile walk everyday (My dog shadows me all morning until we go). I am egging to go right now but just wanted to do this intro first. Anyways, nice to have found this site and I can't weight until I can share my goal success. |
