3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Hi,

Just found this site after madly trying to find a weight loss forum that was frequented everyday. All the ones I've found till here only have posts once a week or so. Very frustrating when I know I need the support just as I'm about to cave and eat something bad.. not a week later! So I am very glad to have found 3FC!

I'm a single mum with a 7 year old girl and a 5 year old moderately autistic boy. Life is hectic, exhausting but I wouldn't change a thing about it... except for my weight. I just know I'd be able to cope better with the amount of running around I have to do if I weighed a whole lot less.

My ex and I separated December last year, and I haven't been particularly worried about my weight this year because I've seen it as a year to just reflect and get past the issues from my separation. However, summer is coming up soon and my tshirts all feel tighter than they used to. I'm also getting the urge to go out and meet people again, but do not feel confident in myself the way I am now.

So I'm very determined to lose weight. I'm using Optifast because normal diets just don't work for me at the moment. There are many days that I am just too exhausted to put a healthy meal together for myself so end up eating junk. With optifast I don't have to worry about that! Since it is so strict, I know I can't excuse bad food at all!

I'm currently 103.5kgs (or 228pounds), and my ultimate goal is 58kgs (127pounds). So I'm looking at losing almost half my weight. I can't even imagine how much of a difference it will make to my life, but I'm looking forward to finding out...
