Hello, Im new..
 

Hello Everyone,

My name is Angela, Im 32, I live in Memphis, TN, and I have just begun yet another trip down weightloss road. :carrot:

Instead of wanting to lose weight to look pretty or fit into something specific, I am doing it for my health.

Not only do I have borderline Diabetes, I have found myself so tired and wanting to go back to bed only an hour after I have gotten out of bed. This can not continue.

Im not following any specific diet plan; I am watching my portions, cutting out the sweets, eating more veggies, and adding exercise.

My starting weight right now is 273lbs. I do not have a specific weight goal,, but a health goal.

I hope to make some new friends on my journey and welcome any and all comments.

I am also an Angela and your description of why you are here is just about the same reason as mine.

At my highest weight I found myself sleeping all the time if I didn't have to get up and go to work. I didn't have any energy to do anything with my children other than sit on the bench while they played at the park.

I got myself to the Dr and was placed on sugar and Blood pressure medication. I now have to go back for my 3 month follow up but the medication and weight loss has really helped me feel human again.

I am from TX too. I am from San Antonio. I too am on Sugar Medicine. I was diagnosed with PCOD a couple of years ago so Im on Metformin. Looks as tho we have a ton in common. I hope all is well for you. :D
