Hi-

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm about two years in to my wieght loss journey and was looking for a place to spark some motivation and inspiration. I stumbled upon this website...and well I"M SO GLAD I did!

Hello, I'm Rachel. I live with my fiance, Boston Terrier Puppy, and two cats in Chicago,IL. I'm getting married in April and I'm trying to keep the wedding stress from effecting my weight. I used to be a hardcore stress eater and this has been difficult for NOT to reach for the chips! I already have my dress and cannot grow out of it! However, they can bring it in to dress sizes and still maintain the integrity of the dress. So I would still like to slim down a bit before April.

I used to work out about 6 days a week and over the past two years that's dwindled down. I'm still maintaing my calorie diets and haven't gained any of the weight back. Though my loosing has slowed.

Anyway I'm here looking to meet people going through simlar challeges. I need to be motivated and pushed and I'm so happy to be here!

Hey Rachel ~ Congratulations on the wedding! Boy do I ever get it, as I'm also getting married -- in February. DON'T YOU DARE GO FOR THE CHIPS unless of course you really CAN eat just one!! (God knows I can't!)

Have you found the Brides to Be thread yet? it's one of MANY miscellaneous support groups we have...in addition to those by age range, plan, etc.

My dress was taken in from an 18W to a 10/12, so I know ALLL about the alterations. A good seamstress will be worth her weight in gold!
