Another Newbie
Just wanted to say hello.
I came across this site and couldn't believe how helpful and inspirational I thought it could possibly be so I signed up. I'm not really all that open with my weight since I am so uncomfortable with it. I have attempted numerous diets throught the past seven years of my life (pretty much since i was 16)and have either had no success or short-term success where all the weight and more ended up coming back. But now being at my heaviest, I have decided that enough is enough!! Hopefully with a combination of watching what I eat (Calories and Fat) as well as going to the gym and using this site for inspiration I will be able to work my way to being comfortable with myself. I know it will take a long time, but I need to do this for myself and I am just so thankful for coming across a site like this for support! |

You might want to check out our "Calorie Counters" forum...great info for those of us who are watching the calorie counts of what we eat. We also have miscellaneous support groups, the 20-somethings, and both the 100 lb club (for those who are on their way to losing or have lost 100 lbs or more) and the 300+ club. Any/All of these spots would be great places for you to jump in and get to posting, so find one or several. Can't wait to get to know you better! |
