I'm new. Show me love!

Hi everyone, my name is Charlene. I came here for weight loss support and stuff. I'm 24 years old, and I'm at my heaviest. I had a new baby girl last Christmas. I actually weighed less after the baby came (173 lbs.) than I did before I was pregnant. But then I got depressed and bored, then ate myself to 200 lbs. I feel horrible about myself. So, I'm trying to regain my figure, self-confidence, etc. I just hope I can do it. :(

Hi Charlene! Sounds like you are ready to take control! Yes, you can do this!

Congratulations on your baby girl, I know she is a darling!

Thank you for the encouragement, Susan.

Oh, and can someone tell me where to go to make my signature? I can't seem to find it!

suenami 09-09-2008 10:31 PM

Ooo, no siggie for you :D

They don't trust me with one either. Have to be here 20 days and have at least 20 posts.

I want a ticker *stamps feet* but I shall be patient *sigh*

Welcome Charlene

You are in the right place. There are many forums you can join, there's one for 20 somethings, one for new mommies, just surf around and you will find where you fit in.

You can do this:carrot::carrot:

Enjoy the ride

Welcome FluffyNotFat! I love your name! It's so cute! I know what you mean about gaining weight after having the baby! I did the same too. Don't beat yourself up over the past. What's done is done. Now, you're going to do something about it! For the longest time, I didn't believe in myself either, but one day, I thought that I AM losing weight, which means I CAN do it! Why do you I have to reach goal to realize I can do it? I highly recommend having a plan. I count calories and workout as much as I can, aside from walking my crazy puppy. I also plan most of my meals, but I let myself be flexible if something comes up. See you around! :D

Welcome! You have come to the right place. There is so much good support and hard earned wisdom here. Surf around and read some posts and you'll find your niche.

Best of luck!!

Lucky, thanks for the advice. I do not plan my meals very much anymore sine I had my two kids. Mostly because I just don't sit down to do it. It's something I should get back to. I need a plan I can stick with in order to slim down.

Thanks everyone else.

Hi all

:^:

Hello everyone,

I am new to this site. I have 5 kids (4 grown + 1 still home), 3 grandkids, 2 dogs, and one wonderful, lovely man in my life. Along with my full time job I am very busy!! :dizzy: to say the least! I do love my life!

Pure and simple I know I need support to get back into shape and stay that way. To learn how to take care of me while caring for everyone else. To be me, just better.

I hope to get to know everyone and am really looking forward to this site.

Jolaine
