Hi everyone. I am so happy I stumbled over this wonderful site. I have been reading some of the incredibly supportive replies. I look forward to receiving the same support. I have been on too many diets to mention. Through my 20's and 30's I always wanted to lose weight for my friends, my husband, my mother etc. Then my 40's came and I finally was comfortable in my own skin except for the outside package. Over the past 9+ years I have continued to gain and loose. But as my 5th decade approaches, I know that I must do something about all the excess weight (75lbs) as I want to continue to enjoy my family and life. I also want to be happy with the whole package, inside and OUT.

Hi Betsy! Oh so love that name!

I too finally decided to lose weight and become healthier for ME! When I made that decision, it all finally 'clicked'.
