My name is Teri and I'm 52 yrs old. I signed up to the site a while ago, but never made a committment until now. This morning I got on the scale and almost fainted. I never thought I weighed this much. I already know this is going to be the hardest thing I've ever done, but it will be well worth it. I'm excited to begin and look forward to making new friends.

hi Teri, and welcome! I'm 52 too, and although it's a lot harder to shed pounds now than it was way back when (oh if I could weigh now what I did in college, when I thought I was "fat") -- we can do this! What kind of food/exercise plans do you have?
