Newbie!
Hello Everyone! my name is Liz... i just signed up and plan on doing ALOT of reading today :) i am trying Very Hard to live a Low Cal/Low Carb Lifestyle... i just started July 5th 2008 at 265lbs... I am 5'7"... 48yrs old... and on Paxil CR (for Chronic Migraines) & Singulair (for Allergies)... i have lost 5lbs so far and hopefully i will lose ALOT more throughout my lifetime ;) is there anyone My Age - My Weight - and on Rx Meds that can give me some Good Advice? ANY advice or opinions will be truly appreciated! Have a Wonderful Life! :hug:

We have a great, active Carb Counters forum - you may want to check it out! Also, we have the 40-somethings support group...you might enjoy posting there. You also could check out the 100 lb club, a group for those losing or who have lost around 100 lbs or more. It is a great, active, supportive group, full of advice. As far as losing with medical/prescription obstacles, you might also see our "Dieting with Obstacles" forum. As you can tell, there are a ton of spots for you to explore and find others in similar situations, so look around, settle in, and keep going. Can't wait to get to know you better! |
Welcome Liz I am new here too and have a great deal of reading to do too. I am just a bit older than you (turned 50 in July) but I to am on medication that can be a bit of an obstacle, I take medication for high blood pressure and the dreaded hormones for hot flashes and night sweats lol ain't it grand getting older lol
anyway I think we are going to get a great education and some great support |
