Hello Everyone

I have seen this forum for over a month now and I believe this site is for me. I had a baby a month ago; and I and getting married in May. The problem is I am having a hard time losing the wieght! I nursed for seven months thinking that I was going to lose all the weight and the results were the exact opposite. I have not lost one pound! I am former military, and you would think that I could get right back on the swing of things, wrong. I feel more out of shape then ever, and the thought of working out, makes my head hurt. Now my fiance' is in Iraq, and he is happy with my weight but I want to look good for him when he comes back. He will be back in Nov. and I really want to look like a difference person for him. Also, I have tried on wedding dresses, and I am in a tight 12 I would to be in a 8. Any encouraging words and wisdom is welcome. Please help!!!

Welcome to 3FC! Did you say you nursed for 7 weeks or 7 months? (You said you had a baby a month ago) Just making sure we're talking about baby weight from a single babe. :) You can make a big difference between now and November. Are you doing a regular exercise program? I know it's hard with little ones, it seems like all of our energy goes towards them, but if you eat right, (get plenty of quality nutrition so you'll have more energy) and exercise at one nap time each day, then common sense eating will prevail. It's so easy to look at the complicated way, but you are lucky because you only have 37 pounds to lose. In the grand scheme of things, you're doing good. ;) You'll make it, just keep your eye on the prize!
