hi everyone! i am very new here, as in just registered like 3 minutes ago, haha! i decided to join in order to get a little more encouragement and support and HELP on things like nutrition
a little bit about my weight history i guess is in order. i've been overweight all my life, i reached 278 by the time i was 13. when i started high school i began exercising and monitoring my food intake and lost 70 pounds in about a year. By my junior year i weighed about 197, but unfortunately developed an eating disorder that caused me to lose 60 pounds within two months. so my lowest weight was 137. by my senior year of high school i had gotten back to 160, however once i hit college was when i slowly started putting weight on again, leaving me where i am now. im trying to teach myself how to eat properly, because i never really learned. i was always either eating too much or not eating anything but celery for 5 days.
i really want to lose weight right this time, so i can feel and BE healthy and most importantly know how to keep it off. this site seems like a great place to do it and im really excited to look around at it some more.

i am a VEGETARIAN, but i am considering eating fish for protein reasons
