Ready to put myself first
 

Good Morning All, New to the group here. I know I have done this many times before but now I am ready to put myself first. My Brother In-law passed away last week and with his passing I have taken a good hard look at life...it's too short to spend wishing I could get my weight under control! I need to step up to the plate and take responsibility. Wish me Luck! :D

I am new too--also to the internet so please bear with me! I have dieted all my adult life (I'm 53) and am looking for a diet for menopause--It seems it takes me longer to lose weight than it used to. I Somersize and really like it but was wondering if any one has a better diet for this age group.

Good for you tsk mom for putting your self first. As mom's we never put ourselves first and its important b/c our families rely on us. You go for it and good luck.

TSKMom, I'm very sorry about your BIL. Unfortunately it sometimes takes something like that before we get our priorities straight!
