Hello all! I am new in a couple of ways! One, as a member and Two, to using forums. I'm sure I will figure it all out quickly though :D!

I'm starting my Low Carb diet on August 1, 2008! I have asked a friend of mine to start with me but who knows if my partner/support will stick it out, you just never can tell so I am turning to y'all for support as well!

I am wanting to lose about 30 lbs. Not real strict with the amount of weight just kind of guessing. My main concern is just fitting back into my normal clothes!:)

Anyways, I hope to meet some new friends and hope that I can be as supportive for all of you as I hope you all will be for me!!!!

My fiance is stationed in Kansas. Since I'm canadian, I can only visit.. but I stayed in manhattan for a few months. It must be boiling hot over there! It was a 'canadian' summer there when I was there in May! hehe
