This rump WILL get in gear!

  • Hello all! I'm Amber! I've been lurking for a few weeks but I think the time's right to come out of the woodwork. I'm a student and I've always struggled with my weight. Nothing major, just those extra 15-20 that refuse to leave. I got done to about 147 at one point a few summers ago, only 7 pounds away from my goal weight!!! I just want to kick myself for not following through. But classes started back up and cafeteria food is **** for my weight. This time is different though, I feel so amazingly motivated. I'm about 5'9 and would love to bounce around 135-140. I would like to lose most of it in my legs and waist. I'm rather fond of how my backside looks, as is my boyfriend! I plan on using a combo of Fat Smash, Weight Watchers, and good ole common sense to achieve my goal. Thanks already for the support I've got just by reading the boards. I look forward to chatting with you lovely ladies!
  • Welcome!!!! And congrats on your decision to get back into it! Best wishes!!!
  • . . . glad you found us, Chickie . . . have a look at the Featherweights Forum . . . http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=197 . . . designed just for those who are struggling with those last few really stubborn pounds.
  • Thanks bettyred and meowee!
  • Anytime Glasgal09- So have you chosen a program??
  • Hi bettyred! I'm doing Fat Smash, but I skipped Phase I and went directly into Phase II. The ultra restrictive 'introduction phases' just aren't my type. I'm using a weight watchers journal though to record my calories for the first few weeks (that always help me!). So I guess I'm doing a little bit of everything!
  • I havent really read much about the fat smash diet- I just eat healthy and attempt to eat even healthier portions LOL I was a calorie counter- and I find myself slipping on that lol I'd be much happier exercising for a couple hours every day than be sitting trying to figure out what I put into my body. It drives me insane LOL How is the WW journal set up? Is it easier to keep track? lol
  • Haha! I know what you mean about the calorie counting, but it helps me a lot in the beginning. I guess it's just realizing what I'm putting into me. I'm using fat smash sort of as a guide. It's got some good advice.
I'm weird like that- I've gotta combine about 3 or 4 different programs for it to work for me!

The WW journal is set up nice! It's one of aunt's that she didn't need, she was on WW. Its has little box things you can check off for water intake and places to right down your exercise. And a section to write down your food obviously. It's very handy.
  • Welcome!
