Greetings folks !! :)

I've been at my last wits end & stumbled across this site & thought THANK GAWD, PEOPLE JUST LIKE ME !! :carrot: So I've been "skulking" for bout 2 hours & decided to jump in.

I am a 3 yr "veteran" diabetic and need to get this weight off before my Doc kills me or prescribes any more pills !! :eek:

I surely hope that I can find support and exchange of ideas, recipes, etc. here as I really need to get this weight off before it threatens my very life !

:cheer2: Welcome aboard! This place is really great! You will find support and information as well. I highly recommend you choose a program to follow. I, personally, am a calorie counter and I love it. I also keep it lower in carbs, but I still enjoy my fruit (especially my frozen grapes) and my once a week frozen yogurt! Anyway, I wish you all the best in your journey!

You mean follow one of these here on this site or in general ? I'm pretty good bout keeping the sugars/carbs/fats/etc in check.

I have an "in house" problem -- my partner isn't real supportive and sometimes plays saboteur and I reach my wits end as to WHY and in my frustration decide I don't feel like exercising (I've NEVER turned to food for comfort, thankfully).

I'm hoping that THIS environment/site will prove to be helpful & motivating !
