Hi everyone!

My name is Elizabeth, and I'm new to this site:) In May, I graduated with my Master's degree from the University of Illinois. This summer, I'm spending my time studying for the CPA exam (ick) and working as an office assistant on campus. In September, though, I will be moving to Nashville, TN (!) to start my career as a tax accountant.

Anyhow, the reason I'm on this site (sorry for all the rambling) is that in April of 2007, I was diagnosed with PCOS. It's important that I try to lose weight, but the catch is that women with PCOS tend to have problems losing the weight. I've been shopping around for a diet, and I just started South Beach one week ago today.

If anyone has any tips, inspiration, comments about South Beach, etc, let me know!

We have a South Beach forum and a Dieting with Obstacles forum where they have a section for PCOS. The ladies there are amazing (your gonna love it).
