Hi everyone, another new lady here trying to lose some weight and gain some friends. =]
I am 19 years old, and a sophomore in college. I've been overweight since as long as I can remember, and this summer that it was time for me to stop eating like a slob and get in shape.
I started watching what I eat and becoming more active a few weeks ago and I've already dropped 13 pounds. I don't expect to shed the rest of the weight as quickly, but it was definitely a good start to a long journey.
Anyway, I just wanted to say this site looks like a great place to stay motivated... the goals portion is really inspiring!

I'm so glad you found this place and that you like it! You're doing really great and this will boost your confidence and your knowledge. I simply cannot believe how inspirational the members are here and how knowledgable too. It soundsl like you're realistic in terms of how it doesn't usually come off that quickly. Some people slow down and then, give up! I look forward to seeing you around!
