Time to get serious!

Ok,
I've been denial for some time now as each visit to the scale did not bring good news, and this last time was a real shocker. EEK! Haven't seen that number but once before and had vowed I'd never see it again, but alas, here I am. :o Time to get serious again!

So, I stumbled upon 3FC while surfing late late the other night looking for a good option in a weight loss supplement/metabolism booster, but actually gave up on that. For one thing, I don't trust any of the advertisements and think most are a waste of money, and second, don't want anything that is going to do wierd stuff to my body! Anyway, that search was a bust, but so glad I found this site. :)

While reading through some posts, I found out about several food delivery services that I hadn't heard of before, and now I've decided to try this option out for a while. One of my biggest problems is irregular eating patterns and the fact I have no time for cooking anything other than frozen. Other than the price, these delivery plans are perfect for me...but boy, choosing one is tough!! First off, I'm trying PurFoods 3-day trial, just to see if I like their food. I want to try another one next, maybe Diet To Go, as it is a good bit less expensive. I'd love to do BistroMD, but it is so pricey. Anyway, I'm probably going to post questions to the meal delivery forum, so I won't go talk much about that here. I guess that is enough of an intro...plus it is time for me to hit the sack.

Hey there! :wel3fc:

You may want to check out our Featherweights forum, a great group for those with less weight to lose than others...being so close to your goal can make it slow going, can't it!

We also have forums for people using meal delivery services, so you may want to check those out!

Look around, keep posting, and stick here...can't wait to get to know you better.

Thanks for the welcomes!

I really appreciate all the warm welcomes...

BIG BOOTIE, love the name and good to see another "vertically challenged" member. ;) You can appreciate how being short adds to the difficulty of maintaining a healthy weight. I always say, there is just not as much space to put the fat, so it has to go outward! :P

mandalinn82, thanks for the pointers to those subforums. I've already been reading through the meal delivery one, but didn't know about featherweights...lol, I certainly like the sound of it, even though I don't feel very featherweight right now! I've always had to fight to maintain my weight, ever since I was a teen, but just having an especially hard time right now. I am sure part is age, but working a sedentary job doesn't help either. Oh the days when I was twenty pounds less and still thought I was fat! CRAZY! :dizzy:
