Just the right Monday
 

:hug:When you get asked to move to the back of the boat....Are you fat? I have know for a while that I was expanding but just kept waiting for the right Monday to start dieting...(the first three letters how appropriate..DIE) now 80 lbs later it's time.

I don't know anything about boats, but :welcome3: to 3fc!

The best time to start (or get back on) a diet is now! And dieting -- or rather calorie restriction as part of a healthy lifestyle -- doesn't have to be torment. It's normal to feel hungry when starting out, but you get used to eating smaller portions. There are good plans and folks with lots of experience on this website to help you out. Good luck!

Well, July 14 is the right monday. My son is leaving for Paris Island and my husband and I have decided to do bootcamp at home. We want to look good for our sons Marine Graduation. I want to make my son as proud of me as I am of him. I am also ready to sit in the front of the boat (as an ornament not an anchor)

That sounds like a great goal!

Having a hubby with the same goal really helps. Although mine just has to cut back on his ice cream to lose weight (*sigh*).

could totally relate to your post about waiting and trying to figure out the right time to start all the while the issue is continuing to grow.
