Ready to take it off in NC !!
 

Hi everybody,

After reading a lot of inspiring success stories from other chicks, I decided to give it one more try to lose weight. At 52, I'm not getting any younger, but steadily getting bigger and bigger.

I currently weigh 226# and have a mini goal to get as close to 199# by my nephew's wedding on Oct. 4th. In fact, to really motivate myself, I bought a beautiful outfit on clearance from Coldwater Creek. It's a size 16 and I wear about a 18W. I promise to take a picture in it and and post it if I'm successful in reaching my goal.

I look forward to everyone providing me some support as I try my best to make my weight loss dream a reality. One pound at a time. Thanks in advance to all who will be posting a reply to this introduction. I hope I can be a blessing to everyone else as well.

Hi, I am expecting to see a picture of you in that dress!!! You have time to lose the weight and get in better shape too, for all the dancing and socializeing at the wedding.

Hey there! Right off the bat we have three things in common:

1. I'm here to get support losing weight also

2. I, too, live in North Carolina

3. I shop Coldwater Creek too!

Sounds like you've set a good goal for yourself and I'm looking forward to seeing your victory picture. Hopefully, I'll have a little victory of my own by then.

Welcome! I'm in NC and also luuuv Coldwater Creek. I am hoping to need a new outfit for my neice's early-November wedding, too : ) (And I'm also 52!) We can do this!!
