I've been lurking on these boards for at least the last six months, so I feel like I already know many of you!
After carrying around "baby weight" for eight years, I finally just decided to do it. I've been losing weight slowly but surely just by cutting calories.
One thing I've noticed by lurking is that even when the progress is slow, if it's going in the right direction, you'll get there eventually!
I'm a little scale-phobic, so I've been gauging my weight from my clothes and measurements. I know the scale is a great tool, but the number freaks me out!!!
Anyway, I'm down from a size 18/20 to a 14/16.
Coming here has inspired me to keep up the fight even on my worst days ... so thank you!
