NEWBIE, well.....sort of...in search of diet buddy!
 

Hi, my name is Carrie, I am 28 from Iowa. I have been a member of this community for a few years. I was very active on here in 2006, and I lost 70 lbs, but towards the end of the year, I fell off the wagon. I have now gained back 40 lbs and I am "starting over" at 288 lbs. I am looking for someone to keep in contact with by email, to help motivate each other, and to keep each other accountable. I am hoping to find someone that is serious about losing weight, and also has a similar amount to lose.

This is a wonderful community, and I hope to be more active on it as I begin my journey again!

You've been here before, so you know your way around...but as a reminder, check out the 100 lb club and the 20-somethings, or any of our challenges!

You know how to do it, you've done it before, and the good news is you caught yourself before you gained all of the weight (or more) back! So get right back on track and you'll be moving in the right direction in no time.

Carrie, welcome back, and good luck with your goals. I don't email much any more, since I became a 3FC addict and spend too much time reading posts on here! ;) I'm sure you'll find some great connections here, though. Try the chat threads or challenge threads. Those are a great way to start connecting with others on the board.
