Falling off the wagon!

I am new to this web page, I registered today and still not sure of my way around...but I have recently lost 79 pounds, and I am plateau-ing...once again....and I am falling off track, support is definitly needed for my remaining 36 pounds!! HELP!!!! All my friends at skinny/ do not need diets or really understand where I am coming from, I'm sure there is many of you in the same situation.

Hey Jenny!

Yep, we do have PLENTY of people who are in, or have been in, your shoes...myself included! I went 6 months...SIX MONTHS...before I lost the last 10 lbs...it can be infuriating!

What sort of plan are you following? You might consider posting a thread in Weight Loss Support, or a more specific plan thread, asking for advice...we have LOTS of ideas to shake up a plateau, and even if they don't all work all the time, they are worth a shot. Post a thread asking for suggestions, with all the pertinent info - your eating plan, exercise, etc. It can be so hard to KEEP on track even when your scale isn't giving you the feedback you want, so ask for support and you'll get it here.

You might also visit the 100 lb club, a group of those who have lost or are on their way to losing 100 lbs or more.

Otherwise, look around, settle in, and keep posting. Can't wait to hear more from you soon!

Hi JENNY . . . :wel3fc: from another Maritimer, just a ferry ride across the Strait from you in Pictou NS. . . you've come to a great place for support, Chickie. Glad to have you joining us.

Hope you'll drop in on our Crazy Canuks Cluck Club. Here's a link to the latest thread . . . http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=141257

Wow, you've been doing great so far and with a little help from all your new cyber friends those last 36 pounds will soon be history.

Go right back to what works. You worked to hard for those 79 lbs. to do any of them over again. The plateau will pass.
Start reading some of the amazing stories around her! It is great for motivation. And everyone is always ready to support you and answer questions.
We know how hard it is and we know that you can do it!

Thanks for the prompt reply, I will look into those ideas for posting. Congrats on your weight loss!! you must feel excellent!!!! How do I get one of those scales that measure my progress to show up under my posts?

Hey Meowee....Thanks! I must admit I have been to the pictou legion more than once!! haha

And now for the bad news . . . you can't have a weight ticker in your signature until you've been a member for at least 30 days and have a certain number of posts under your belt . . . a case of a few bad apples (self-centered spammers) spoiling the barrel for everybody. Just stick around and keep posting and the time will fly on by. See you later . . .
