:wel3fc: JESSICA . . . from another Canadian who was originally from Toronto and from another cat lover . . . I have 5. How many do you have? That's my calico, Purrecious staring out at you from my Avatar.

Anyway you have definitely come to the right place for lots of support and encouragement on your journey to better health and fitness, Chickie and we are glad that you found us.

There is a special forum for Twenty-Somethings over in the support groups area and I hope you'll be coming to join our Crazy Canuks Cluck Club as well.

Tell us a little more about yourself and your diet and exercise plans and we can probably steer you in some more directions as well . . .

Hey guys! thanks for the welcomes!
Meowee - Yes i am a cat lover, too! I have two cats, but 5 sounds like it could be a headache?? haha

I have been off and on diets for years, never really taking the healthiest choices, from starving myself to eating nothing but freezies, but now i'm hoping just to cut portions and to excersize more :)

:welcome3:

I used to be a yo-yo dieter too, but suddenly it is as if I have finally learned from my past mistakes and the path to health and weight loss has become so much clearer and easier to navigate today than it was even a few months ago. All of the struggles I've been through with my weight were not for nothing.

There's that, and also the fact that I recently forced myself to do something about my weight once and for all so that I don't have the excuse of it to hold me back from doing what I want to do in my life any longer. There are no more excuses.

It sounds like you have a good, simple, healthy plan--cut calories by a little bit and increase exercise. That's what I've been doing and it seems to work so far!

Good luck! This site has been sooo instrumental in my success so far.
