Hi, I'm Benders Mom and I'm new at this, please excuse any mistakes. I am currently @ 300 lbs. I'm trying to begin exercising but have to start at the very beginning. I have dealt with depression for a long time and have become very lethargic and overweight during the bad times. I could really use some help in the motivating and exercise thoughts. Remember - I'm just a starter! Anyone else lost or losing this much weight? I am 40 + years.
. . . so glad you found us . . . this is a really big place so have a good look around and then just start posting -- there are special forums dedicated to exercise; and chat groups for those in their forties and for those with a starting weight of 300 or more -- you'll find lot's of support and engouragement in any of those as well as everywhere else on the site.
YES, we have people who have lost or are losing that much...check out the 100 lb club (for those losing or have lost 100 lbs or more) and the 300+ club (for those with starting weights over 300 lbs).
