Hello -- Newbie
 

Hi, my name is Michele and I'm a 40 year young married mother to 4 furkids--LOL we have 4 pomeranians -- no kids. Born and raised in Las Vegas. I was lucky enough to find out about this website from a very old and dear friend that I had lost track of -- you know how they say people come into and leave your life for a reason?? Well it just gets proven to me over and over.
I have been thin for the majority of my life -- not because I tried or anything just because I was. Well this past Christmas, When my DH and I took our annual pic for our Christmas card, I realized that I didn't recognize myself --LOL in my head I was thin and in shape -- in the pic I was CLEARLY not. So while I was battling with myself over what to do I found a very old time friend who was going through the same thing and she turned me on to this website and the daily plate Talk about life changing!! Between the advise and support I have already lost 7 pounds!!!! WOW Seriously if I can do it ANYONE can!! It's very comforting to know that 24/7 I have someone to turn to if I have a question, need help or just want to chat = }

I'm so glad you're enjoying the forum. It is a great place for support.
I know what you mean about being "thin and fit in your mind". :rolleyes: I'm still shocked when I look in the mirror. I don't FEEL this fat! :(
