I am also new here. I had an old issue of Oprah's magazine sitting around, and happened to find the website in there! It turns out I had joined six years ago, but obviously did not keep coming back and why that is I don't know! Motivation perhaps?

In any case, I think this looks like a great site too! I wish you much success.

I was struck by the words I read here about the bigger you get, the smaller your life becomes. How true is that! It's heart wrenching really. I have a hundred pounds to lose and like many of you, at this point in time, I'm skeptical that I am able to do it. It seems like a huge undertaking and to be quite honest, I'm not even sure it's possible.

I must continue reading in here and learn from those of you who have managed to do what I want to. Thanks in advance to all who are here and supportive!
