Hi, I'm new!
Hi, I'm new (obviously). I found this site kind of by accident, and everyone looks to be really supportive and kind.
A little bit about me: I'm a nursing student in the Chicago area, and am preparing for finals in my pre-clinical courses, two years of clinicals still wait for me. My goals are to lose ten pounds, and to get stronger. Much stronger. I've never been able to do a pull-up, and can barely run a quarter mile. Obviously, this needs some work. I also have thyroid disease, so losing weight is very difficult for me. I gained 20 pounds in 2 months last year, and it took almost a year to lose those 20 pounds. My job is not stressful, except when my managers harp on me about meeting certain goals. I'll probably quit by September to focus on school without losing my mind.:dizzy: Thanks a bunch, and I'll be around! |

:wel3fc: Lose a little weight & become stronger & healthier in the process! There's the Featherweights area, there's the Weight & Resistance area (Under Exercise!), and those are some good places for you to start looking. :yes: Make sure that you post wherever you're comfortable.
